Abstract:
Some theoretical results are summarized in the study of territorial development problems using the methodologies of interdisciplinary, geosystemic and problematic approaches. The method of typology of territorial-economic systems has been used. The content of the topic of territorial management based on regional property and financial and economic relationships along the line “central government – regional government – municipality” has been revealed. The enterprise (firm) is presented as a “universal” counterparty in relation to other control centres. The general context of territorial development reflects its northern specificity with examples from the European North of Russia and the Komi Republic. For postgraduate students, researchers, and territorial planning practitioners.
