Аннотация и ключевые слова
Аннотация (русский):
Paleokarst is defined as an ancient karst that is generally buried under younger sediments or sedimentary rocks. Ancient karst and associated subsurface geological features have great scientific importance, because they not only record the past erosional surfaces of the Earth, but also preserve data on the ancient climate and water transport in paleoaquiferous horizons. In addition, some paleokarst areas are repositories of a variety of minerals. Paleokarst is characterized by a variety of morphogenetic occurrences and lithological filling; therefore, the objective of the lithological workshop is to review available modern data on proven and presumed paleokarst, since these data are important for paleogeographic and paleotectonic reconstructions.
